Personal Emergency Response Systems

Let Group One Safety & Security provide you and your family members with peace of mind with one of our Personal Emergency Response Systems. These systems may help further independent living for those who value their independence.

Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS), also known as Medical Emergency Response Systems, are ideal for individuals with health problems, and live alone or left alone for long periods and need assistance. They are designed to help individuals who want to maintain their independence, be safe, and have peace of mind when no one is around.

A PERS has three components: a small radio transmitter, a console connected to your telephone, and an emergency response center that monitors calls. Transmitters are light-weight, battery-powered devices. You can wear one around your neck, on a wrist band, on a belt, or in your pocket. Group One Safety and Security offers a variety of these devices to suit your individual needs.

For around $1 a day, you or your loved one will be protected and able to continue living independently. Pricing can be as low as just $21.95 a month.

Ask About Adding A Group One Safety & Security Lock Box.

The key lockbox is a secure box which easily attaches to your home. Local emergency personnel are given the combination to the lockbox so they can quickly get a key to your home in the event of an emergency. The lockbox can also be used so that family members or friends can readily get a key to your home when necessary.

Personal Emergency Response Systems let you call for help in an emergency by pushing a button. They are a kind of information hub designed to quickly link you or your loved one with the outside world.

When you need help, you press the transmitter’s help button, which sends a signal to the console.

The console automatically dials one of our 24 hour Certified Emergency Monitoring Specialists. A trained professional will try to find out the nature of your emergency.

Even if you, or your loved, one cannot hear us, or if we cannot hear them, we know that there may be an emergency and will take appropriate action such as notifying the neighbors or calling EMS.

Help is on the way. We contact emergency services, friends and family and stay on the line until help arrives.
